As this is a 208-240V Rack PDU, plugging 110V devices, even with an adapter, is not supported, highly problematic and a serious fire hazard.  <br /><br />Beyond the simple hazards of plugging into the wrong voltage, the surge protector may be introducing additional problems by sensing an over-current condition.
